I really like that...it's certainly not the kind of media that you'd be acquainted with (I see you as a photographer). I kind of disagree with the colour under the wire thing...I think the piece is effective because I had to imagine what colours would be there. Placing colours under the wire, I think, ruins the effect that the wire has on the piece as a whole (because the change of colours would crowd it).
It's a pretty simplistic piece as whole - you've only used 3 colours (minus the flower). I think it needn't be crowded with more.
